Hi Yogis,

We had a bit of change over the past 6 weeks as I was sick, then on holidays and 2 workshops in-between!
This created an opportunity to reconnect with old friends/fellow teachers. Many I haven’t seen for years.
I am so grateful to Jenny, Cynthia, Srey, Molly and Nathan.
These amazing teachers stepped in and you all got the benefit of having a variety of teachers over this time.
Bringing their own understanding, perspective and knowledge of yoga to you.

Yoga is a smorgasbord of different practices and perspectives, it is a philosophy. It teaches us acceptance, non judgement and compassion to open our mind and bodies.
It teaches us the enjoyment of the Yin and Yang of yoga, from still meditative practices to hot dynamic ones.
To change our practice based on how we feel, rather than our preconceived ideas of what our yoga practice should be.

We are creatures of habit, this can be both helpful and limiting.
It creates discipline and focus, yet can get us stuck, inhibiting our acceptance and flexibility to new ideas and practices
Yoga is self awareness, understanding ourselves creates changes our in body and mind, on and off the mat.

So what could you change in your life to open your mind to new perspectives?

It could be as simple as choosing a different position in the room to lay your mat and see the class from a completely different angle.
Take that regular walk loop you do in the opposite direction and maybe see a whole new view.
Whatever it is, whether on or off the mat, be flexible and open to the possibilities. Something wonderful and new could be just around the corner.

Tuesday Night September Special
For the month of September Cynthia is offering a extra 15mins each Tuesday 6pm night for meditation practice
Class will run as usual for the hour, then students can chose to quietly leave or stay for the extra 15mins to share meditation practice with Cynthia

Cynthia will be away for 7 weeks and will be missed, but remember this is an opportunity to experience different teachers as myself and others fill in for her while she visits family in Europe.
She’ll be back with you on 12th December though till Christmas.

Big thanks to all that attended the Yoga Foundations Workshop – back to basics 1 and 2, it was well received and August sold out.
So we will look to repeat it as a option to replace the traditional 7 Week Introduction Course again in the future.

Relaxing at the end in a well needed Yoga Nidra

We have be renamed a few of the classes
Beginners to Level 1
General to Level 2
Dynamic to Level 2/3
This seems more appropriate as many of you are not beginners, rather experienced yogis enjoying the level of practice that suit your needs.
